The Pause That Gave Me Power

Sometimes the only way forward… is to pause completely.

Recently, I had to shut everything down. Not because I gave up, but because I finally surrendered.

In that stillness, I gained the clarity I needed to serve sustainably — not from exhaustion or duty, but from fullness and flow. I realized I am the vessel. The energy I share must pass through me, not just to me.

And before I could give, I had to receive. Fully. Without guilt. Without rushing to package the lesson.

I tasted my own medicine. I stopped searching for the masses and tuned in to the few souls deeply aligned with the work I am called to do. Just one or two. And that’s enough.

I also had to confront something humbling: I was sharing information, not truly communicating. Not in a way that nourishes, connects, or transforms. I reconnected with my essence, not to tell people I had something valuable, but simply to share it — through presence, energy, and aligned action.

I’ve returned to work, but this time with balance. I’ve chosen to diversify how I use my skills, so that all of my calling doesn’t have to carry the financial burden. That shift alone released pressure I didn’t know I was carrying.

This season, I’m working through the traumas of emotional codependency — the constant need to prove, please, and be needed — and moving into emotional independence, where I can shine and allow others to shine, too.

There is power in presence. Power in receiving. Power in silence. And power in returning with wholeness.

If you’re on this journey too, I see you. I honor you. And I walk with you.

With grace and growth,

Kasey Pacheco
