Stop Buying That Sh*t!
By Kasey Pacheco, Certified Hypnosis Coach
You might be wondering, “Kasey, what are you talking about—and why so crude?”
Well, honey child, let me tell you something: when God prompts me to speak, I say what needs to be said.
And what I need to say is this:
We spend way too much money on sh*t that doesn’t matter.
This message is especially for my fellow Millennials. I see us spending our hard-earned money on things that feed our egos or numb our pain—but rarely do we invest in what truly heals us. So let me share my story.
My Journey to True Healing
I became a Holistic Nurse because I was already one. It was in me from the beginning. But for a long time, I avoided additional certifications. Why? Because popular wellness tools like yoga, meditation, breathwork, and Reiki started to feel like fads. Spirit made it clear that my path required deeper transformation—not trends.
Years later, after giving myself time to define what holistic practice truly meant for me, my naturopathic doctor introduced me to frequency medicine. That woke something up in me.
I remembered a conference I attended years ago where a Canadian doctor helped nurses get certified in hypnosis. Back then, my conservative Christian background rejected everything she said. But fast forward to my time in Thailand, where I studied with a Master who had been trained directly by a Japanese Reiki master—it changed everything.
He taught me that these practices—Reiki, yoga, qigong—are sacred technologies. Not Westernized fitness trends, but ancient wisdom rooted in the same universal principles I recognized corresponding to fundamental Bible.
There was a time I was fluent in Mandarin Chinese. I even began praying in Chinese—and I’ll tell you, language has a deep impact on our perception of spiritual experience. Our Words carry our concepts.
The Funny Thing About Hypnosis
So imagine my surprise when, years later, someone asked me to become a hypnosis coach. I laughed. God definitely has a sense of humor. I was already using Quantum frequency tools with my clients, helping them become aware of the emotional imprints in their voice frequency. But one of my instructors challenged me: “What happens after the awareness? How do we reprogram the subconscious mind?”
The frequencies helped in the moment, yes. But as soon as the music stopped, most clients defaulted back to their old patterns. That’s when I knew I needed to go deeper.
Timeline Therapy & Generational Healing
So I took the leap. The certification investment was bigger than anything I’d ever spent—aside from my trip to Thailand. But it was worth every penny. I learned techniques like Timeline Therapy, which changed both my life and my clients’ lives.
Think about it: just as we inherit hair color, eye shape, and skin tone from our ancestors, we also inherit emotional timelines—temperaments, fears, even trauma. It’s passed down through our subconscious mind.
When we heal our timeline we clear it for ourselves and future generations. Some of us have generations of addictive behaviors and feelings of unworthiness pulsing through us. Using this technique we root out and reprogram all of it.
The Real Investment Is Inner Work
So when I say “Stop buying that sh*t”, I mean stop spending on things that fill the void temporarily. Stop buying what won’t last, instead start investing in your healing, your transformation, and your legacy.
As mothers, we often put everyone else first. But in this season of life, we must begin putting ourselves first—because when we heal, we become the safe space our children and our partners need.
I don’t apologize for the money I’ve spent on true healing. And I celebrate the bold decisions my clients make to invest in themselves, too.
Final Word: You Can Afford It
Healing is not cheap, but it’s worth it. Little by little, I made payments over time—and after a year and a half, I was finally done.
So I’ll leave you with the words Spirit whispered to me—the same words I now pass on to you:
Stop buying that sh*t.
Start healing your life.
